Taichi Kusumi
Taichi Kusumi is a PhD candidate at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences at the University of Tokyo. He received his bachelor's degree in philosophy in 2022 and his master's degree in science in 2024, both from the University of Tokyo. His research focuses on the developing new image processing algorithms for electron microscopy imaging, including a fast noise-removal algorithm for high spatiotemporal-resolution imaging [T. Kusumi, et al., Ultramicroscopy 2023], a Poisson noise-removal algorithm for pulse-count imaging [T. Kusumi, et al., Ultramicroscopy 2024], and a deconvolution algorithm for 3D STEM imaging.
