Tra H Nguyen

My name is Nguyen Huong Tra, and I am a PhD researcher at the National University of Singapore, specializing in malaria research with a focus on uncovering the mechanisms of ivermectin resistance in Plasmodium falciparum. My work centers on using advanced electron microscopy and bio-imaging techniques to investigate how ivermectin disrupts protein trafficking within malaria parasites, providing critical insights into the molecular pathways that contribute to drug resistance. I am eager to join APMC13 to connect with leading imaging experts and stay at the forefront of innovations in microscopy. Expanding my expertise in bio-imaging and microanalysis will be invaluable as I continue to explore cellular ultrastructure and dynamics, pursuing innovative imaging approaches to advance disease research.
