Dr. Rubbiya Ali is a Data Informatics Manager and Image Processing Specialist at the Centre for Microscopy & Microanalysis (CMM), UQ. She specializes in advanced imaging techniques, 2D/3D image processing, microscopic data analysis, software development, and microscopy data management. She supports researchers with image processing, storage solutions, and best practices for reproducibility. She completed her PhD in the Hankamer Group at UQ’s Institute for Molecular Bioscience, where she developed machine learning-based computational methods (3D BLE, RAZA) for edge detection and particle picking of 3D organelles, macromolecules, and membrane proteins.
